Can't
access menu functions on a Sharp LCD projector
Problem:
I can't select any of the menu functions on my Sharp projector
from the remote control. Some functions work, so I know the remote
is working, but the menu does not.
Solution: With
its 1997 models (XG-NV1U, XG-E1200U), Sharp put a switch on the
remote which changes it from mouse control mode to adjustment
mode. Flip it to adjustment mode and your menus will operate.
