you should know about substitute power supplies for LCD panels

use the original AC Adapter/Power Supply that came with your LCD
Panel. Although generic AC Adapters can usually be used successfully
on many types of products (regardless of what the manufacturer
says), this is one time you better not second guess them. The
improper adapter, even at the right voltage and current, can cause
damage to your LCD panel or cause improper operation. The original
adapters are highly filtered and regulated, but generic replacements
are not. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for the right
adapter.
